weblogs.asp.net — When ASP.NET 2.0 was released, Microsoft provided a new tab in IIS called "ASP.NET". At first this appears to be a welcome addition, and for development computers, it really is. The issue is this: The ASP.NET tab in IIS 5 and IIS 6 uses the aspnet_regiis.exe command in the background and, if used, will cause a full AppDomain recycle on the *entire server*.
