Finally the ADO.NET Team, which is supporting both LINQ to SQL and Entity Framework, made some clear statements. It is now clear that as of .NET 4.0, LINQ to Entities will be the recommended data access solution for LINQ to relational scenarios.

I could say, less than 10% in both cases for my case. I found the similar statistics for my other known developers.
