sharpregion.com — SVN and TortoiseSVN are really great tools. It is a shame that these tools are used only by developers. I believe that every home should use SVN to keep track of it’s files. The problem is that these tools are planned for developers. Using the file-system in windows is not a trivial task for everyone. In fact, sometimes people tend to be afraid of it. Not only using the file-system, but also using some client application that does not even have a window? And where do I get an SVN server anyway?!? Keep reading. you might find it useful. read more...

devlicio.us — For all the debate regarding if Captcha's are a good thing or a bad thing one thing is certain (in my book). If you do not have some way to stop spam-bots your site will become overridden with junk in a hurry. This post will walk you though how to add reCaptcha to your Asp.Net MVC site. read more...

ayende.com — I've integrated NHibernate.Search into our company platform DAL and it's works very fine. Compliments! Since two months ago, our backend servers, where the DAL with NHibernate runs, are in a NLB environment so different servers can update the Lucene file base indexes at the same time. I've encountered a problem in the NHibernate.Search.Impl.Workspace file because it is not able to correct manage the lock: (Monitor.Enter & Monitor.Exit) and when it try to close the writer in the Cleanup proc of the same class. Is there a new version that is able to run on distributed environments or can I do anything to solve the problem? Thank u very much. --Vito read more...
