I agree completely that this is an outrageous thing; I'm against censorship. My immediate concern was about keeping DNK on-topic; I feel that this site is a great resource and I would hate to see it start to bloat (subject-wise) in the same manner as Slashdot, for instance. I think your intentions were good, but I fear about setting such a precedent. Gavin may feel differently, and I'd certainly follow his lead. Because of the importance of the topic and the fact that you're obviously *not* a spammer I wanted to explain my position so there were no hard feelings or misunderstandings.

I deleted your "Italy is going to censure the web" submission. Nothing personal, but it is clearly -- as you stated in the description -- unrelated to .NET and therefore does not belong on DNK. Period.
